THE FEAST OF THE VIRGIN OF CASAYSAY
The feast is celebrated on the 8th day of December every year, the day when Fernando Quiroga y Palascios,(then the Spanish representative of Pope Pius XII) celebrated the solemn canonical coronation of the Virgin of Caysasay. This miraculous wooden image is eight inches high, bearing signs of long immersion in water, but garbed in exquisite robes.
