This is the home of Gregorio Agoncillo, impeccably painted in white with a prominent brass statue of Gregorio displayed in its front garden. An abundance of beautiful Victorian and Spanish-inspired local furniture of the 1800’s and early 1900’s abound indoors. Well-preserved chandeliers, statues, and an assortment of collectibles inside the display cabinets are interesting to note. Gregorio, a prominent landowner with vast wealth, was also known as the father-in-law of Emilio Aguinaldo. His brother Felipe Agoncillo, equally illustrious and considered the first Filipino diplomat, was born in this house. The house is being maintained by the Villavicencio clan (who are cousins of the Agoncillos) through the administration of the Gregorio Agoncillo Foundation, in memory of Gregorio’s youngest daughter, Corazon.
