MISA DE GALLO
Nine consecutive days of dawn masses are held at 4:00 A.M. throughout the country from the 16th to 24th day of December. After the mass, the church-goers treat themselves with puto bumbong (a local cake baked inside a bamboo tube) or bibingka (rice cake) paired with hot native tea or tsokolate (cocoa) as their early breakfast.
