PAROL
A parol or lantern is the symbol of the Star of Bethlehem, displayed on windows to light the way of the Kings and to signify the birth of Jesus Christ. The traditional parol is made with a skeleton of bamboo strips covered with transparent, onion-skinned paper. Modern innovations include dancing lights, capiz shells & the use of colored cellophane.
